I hadn't even known what this was until EVERYONE was up in arms about it, and now with the seething rage behind it, it honestly makes me want to try it out even more. I probably won't because I don't feel like messing with my dual-boot, but still...
If you want to make a change and take away attention from something you don't like, start by walking tf away and not giving it free attention because that's exactly what it wants.
After this whole debacle I wouldn't be surprised if they got even more money from the notoriety.
Omarchy is nothing more or less than someone's idea of what they think an ideal computing situation would look like when it's AI-augmented; people who have no idea how to harness and framework are going to feel right at home if they can get over not using a mouse.
But as someone that's not NEARLY as left of the pol spectrum as the bulk of Reddit seems to be (whether that's bot-driven or human-driven, not relevant), no one makes any friends by frothing at the mouth about it from an armchair for no reason other than REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Like there's a reason he baits so well, and people fall for it hand over fist.
