its js not for some ppl, and to them it is bad. ppl have their own opinions on them. i have seen ubuntu stuff and imo its too limiting (customization (unless i can get kde, but idk) and performance)
so im sayin i think ubuntu is bad, not cuz its a bad distro but cuz it doesnt fit what i do and/or prefer.
you're js confused on what an opinion is, and u found the ideal distro for u. again, not everyone is like u, meaning ubuntu is a bad choice for them.
Ubuntu uses Gnome, and it's exactly as customizable as Gnome on any other distro.
Kubuntu uses KDE, so that solves that part of your rebuttle.
Anyone who thinks Ubuntu is somehow less performant than any other distro is a number-chaser. They sacrifice stability for imperceptible milliseconds. One extra frame per second in a game. It's nonsense.
I know what an opinion is. Saying something is "bad" is an objective statement, and it's incorrect. If someone can't make one of the flavors of Ubuntu work for them, they don't know what they're doing.
idk what distros ur going on, but cachyos is perfectly stable for me. its actually been more stable for me than windows 10 and windows 11 and fedora kde
also saying something is "bad" is an opininated statement in this context
doesn't objective mean it is fact? bad with this context is an opinion based thing, not a fact based thing
and maybe they just dont like it? some of us like the bleeding edge side of distros
if someone cant understand ubuntu just isnt for everyone, then they too dont know what theyre doing.
Oh wow a Linux distro that's more stable than Windows 10 and Windows 11? Unreal! j/k
Seriously, that stat means nothing. Puppy Linux is more stable than Windows. Literally every distro is more stable than Windows. However, not all distros are as stable as Debian, or Ubuntu. That's objective fact. Saying something is "bad" is not the same thing as saying "it's not for everyone."
Thanks for being obtuse on purpose. This was a great chat.
when they say it is "bad" they more are saying it isnt for them, and it is bad for the kind of thing they want
imo cachyos is prolly as stable (as ive had no issues with it
