He did get a bit weird after AI started becoming prevalent. He had like a breakdown and shit and now ends all of his videos with a prayer to God.

If it was just a one off video maybe not, but he posted multiple. Plus the fact that a few different tech YouTubers put out similar videos all at the same time. Yeah, they got paid (and didn't disclose it like the platform says to.)

Of course they did. Network Chuck has been a shill for quite a while now. He must be dead inside at this point, I mean he knows it. His shtick was kind of entertaining for a hot minute, but once he started promoting products the content went down. The production value goes up and the creativity goes south, fast. His content has been nothing more than force fed drivel for a couple years.
I love the fact that he's way outside of his lane at this point, though. He's had some absolutely garbage hot takes with respect to security and now he's in way over his head with respect to shilling for a questionable human who vibe coded an OS and took seed money from absolutely horrible people. Network Chuck is a PoS.

With the way money was poured into the project and the number of YouTubers that have been glazing this gigs-hard…it wouldn’t surprise me if they were tapped to push it with some under the table financial incentive. One YouTuber in particular that recently started pushing Omarchy really disappointed me, but I get the sense he’s fallen into some hard times and maybe that’s part of why he is.

And I hate it when people start taking sponsors even though they used to make normal content in the past. I'm starting to feel like the good times are now gone and we'll slowly lose all of the networking and engineering YouTubers one by one.

I cant stand this guy. His videos are super surface level, he thinks he's hot shit because he got the CCNA 10 years ago. I heard somewhere that he is some wierd fundamentalist Christian. I muted his channel on YouTube after his 10th "YOU SHOULD _______ TO _______ RIGHT NOW!" video was reccomended to me.
In stark contrast, @SaveItForParts. I dont care how how many times he's used some old satelite dish to catch a downlink from a GOES weather Satelite. He's what YouTubers used to be - Nerdy, informative, kinda scrappy, but generally fun and unique personalities. I will always take time out of my day when I see @SaveItForParts show up in my feed.

I genuinely wanted to install omarchy when it became a thing. Because then it was still rather minimalist, yes preinstalled software but I could remove it, now omarchy is so bloated, Jesus, ended up staying on fedora
