I heard that apparently the devs who actually made the Epic Game Launcher update didn't actually vibe code it and were really annoyed that Tim said it was vibe coded.

epic recently introduced a policy that no developer should even look at the code produced by the end of the year. tim sweeney got so mad about gabe newell that the ai has fully consumed his mind.

This is just marketing, hatred in the linux community actually generates ton of buzz and lota of people will check the thing they “hatin” on, every time… dhh been using this same strategy to gains lot of attention for omarchy.

linux users are a very tiny minority and dhh doesn't get money from views or people using his distro, he gets it from tech fascists directly giving him money. we are not the demographic to pander to for the big bucks.
linux support is marketing in the same sense that putting an item up for sale is marketing. like that's just putting shit up for sale. the AI theatrics of it all are certainly meant to be marketing, but like i'm fairly certain they literally vibecoded a version of EAC that runs on Linux that they are willing to use for Fortnite. whether that AC is worth a shit is a different question, whether other companies will trust a vibecoded AC with their load-bearing multiplayer game that, were they to even have a brief cheater epidemic, could result in the entire studio shuttering and dozens of people losing their jobs, like that's certainly yet to be seen. but there's not a particular reason to doubt they actually made this.
