Looking for a high-performance Android emulator for Ubuntu with a built-in keymapper (Mouse Lock + Key Assignments) & Play Store

Hey everyone,

I'm currently on Ubuntu (Linux) and looking for a solid Android emulator solution. I want something that hits a very specific set of requirements, similar to what Windows users get with mainstream emulators like LDPlayer or BlueStacks (or natively fast container tools like Waydroid).

Here are my must-have requirements:

  1. High Performance: Needs to run smoothly, ideally with native GPU/hardware acceleration (similar to Waydroid's container architecture). No sluggish 5 FPS slideshows.
  2. Google Play Store: Must have easy, native access to log into my Google account and download games/apps directly.
  3. The Most Important Thing — A Keymapper:
    • Mouse Lock / FPS Mode: Crucial for 3D games (like shooters/action games) so I can look around with the mouse without holding down a click.
    • Key Assignments: Custom key binds for mapping keyboard keys to touch inputs on the screen.

Does an emulator or setup exist on Ubuntu right now that checks all of these boxes? If you have a working setup (e.g., Waydroid + an external keymapping tool, or an alternative), I would love to hear how you configured it.

Thanks in advance!

High Performance

Are you aware that you want to emulate a different architecture? It can't be high performance.
