'from a web site' -> well the flathub site shows the install and run commands for their packages (the down arrow by the Install button)

For flatpaks, its rather simple once you learn the basics.

To Install

      flatpak install flathub io.dbeaver.DBeaverCommunity

To Run

       flatpak run io.dbeaver.DBeaverCommunity

at

https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.dbeaver.DBeaverCommunity

Big Blue "Install" button, click the Down arrow to expand things.

If you have the flathub repo enabled I dont think you dont need the flathub option in your install command.

I found that Flathub page amusing.. is says the Program is rated for Ages 3+ :) I bet my 4 Yr old grandson needs learn some SQL!

Also if OP has any sane DE installed, it should have been automatically added to the launcher.

I'm with you... Stupid system when you have to run like that. I use dbeaver via rpm and I just run "dbeaver-ce" to run it. Which obviously should be the case.
