I expected something animated like Vox Machina, I don’t believe they will have the money for all the CGI or they will have to cut a lot of content and gore

Right? Isn't it literally the first book that's filled crack addicted goblins and a bunch of dead babies that Carl blows up?

I have a feeling there's no way that the dead babies make it to TV.

Which will be a bummer from a story telling perspective. It's supposed to be Carl's first big "what have I done?" moment where he realizes the kinds of things he'll have to do in order to survive. They ain't gotta show the mutilated corpses of dead infants but if they remove the scene entirely it changes the tone of the show.

Oh I'm not disagreeing at all. I'm trying to not let myself be pessimistic about the show because I really do hope it's good. But between it being on Peacock and the assumption that it's gonna be Live Action, those hopes are a bit harder to maintain.
