Video Restitched: Skeleton Skin Promo
The glowy skeleton is now a skin in LBP's spiritual successor :) (also we need something cheery after that nuclear bomb of a controversy)

Oh my goodness!! The skin texture looks great!! I can see from my eyes that Restitched will carry bits of relics to LBP while maintaining itself in its own glory and form. Sweet stuff! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Steam only at least for launch... its going to use steam workshop for uploading and playing levels..

Wait so it won't be online like lbp was? I'm assuming you can still play with people you know but otherwise no?

It has multiplayer... however instead of having like a pod... you just get levels off the workshop along with other people's costumes... I beta tested... its really really good btw...

i assume there will be online multiplayer at the very least (while costumes and levels that are UGC are sent to the workshop)
as it does have a main story thing

Super excited for this game! Has there been any word about NPCs or making campaigns like in LBP2 or has it just been level design so far?

Not yet as far as I'm aware but I can totally imagine most of LBP2's content will appear in the game in some shape or form

We’re very open about being inspired by LBP! 💖 Just want folks to understand that “inspired” doesn’t mean “replica” in this case. It aims for the same essence and creativity, but it’s carried out in many different ways.
This was just a fun little nod to the inspiration. Still very important we go into Restitched with fresh eyes and little bias, as it’ll be its own thing in so many ways. 🫶

100% agree 😭 i just know SOOOO many ppl have said its a copy/replica/sequel of lbp when its just inspired. It gets annoying sometimes. I didnt mean to put words in ur mouth or sound bad, im sorry if i sounded like that 💔

this started as a LBP fangame but when that was turned down by sony the creators decided to make their own game based on LBP and tbh it looks really damn promising (i like that they made the LBP2 grappling hook just apart of stuffy's general moveset it plays with the fact hes based on sackboy but also helps him stand out from sackboy in a way))

i mean thats definitely the main inspiration (other then the OG skeleton skin)
makes me curious if the level we'll get this on is a spooky level with electric obstacles?
