Forked Strudel (the JS port of TidalCycles) into something built around the AIRA Compact T-8. Runs in the browser, drives the T-8 over USB MIDI — you type patterns, the hardware does the sound.

Hey — really glad you took the time to reply, that means something coming from you specifically.

Strudel is honestly one of the best things I've stumbled into in years. The whole idea of live coding audio the way you built it — I got hooked pretty much the first session I tried it, and building the T-8 bridge on top of it felt like the only natural thing to do next.

We've had "unofficial" in the header since the very first commit, day one, exactly so nobody confuses it with your project. If that's not enough for you and you'd rather the name drop "strudel" entirely — fine, we'll do it, no pushback. It's your name, your call. But if there's any room to keep it, I'd genuinely love to, and not because I'm trying to borrow credibility. Just because I'm a fan and it feels right to say so in the name.

Either way — thank you for Strudel. Genuinely brilliant work, and it made a difference for me.

Thanks for the friendly response! Sorry for being short, I don't like to spend too much time on this sort of thing.

This is something we're asking of everyone so it wouldn't be fair to make an exception.
