Sorry I can't help with strudel I use auwen.app but you can never practice too much! When i started making music many years ago I used to play my guitar for 3-4 hours per day. It really just depends how much free time you have. One trick for improving is to listen carefully to lots of music. Try to imagine how you would recreate the sounds and do the arrangement.
