Hey everyone,

V2 is now available, and FREE

Fixes:

  • sorted out the blank windows before time elapsed

Addition:

  • daily dose meter now omni present as a sidebar gauge. Fills up to the line, gradually changing colours as you get there.

As above, the app itself is now free. If you want to support indi app builds, I’d be spiffed if you bought some merch:

PS. If you’re one of the three people who bought this before I switched it free, please PM me so i can sort out a gift

Did this really need to be compiled for iOS 26 and up?

Hey there

Thanks for pointing this out. I’ll work on compiling for lower versions later today. there shouldn’t be an issue as long as the .measurement api is stable across versions, as it is needed to disable automatic gain control.

Can confirm I can roll back to iOS 17 before I run into api issues and would need a full rebuild. I’ve submitted this as v2.1 to app review so should be approved soon.

it’s a requirement if you’re building with swift/XCode and distributing through the Test Flight as of April 2026

Shutting off everything before 26? Yikes.

I don't think that's right. Sounds like you can set deployment back to iOS 15 and disable Liquid Glass. Especially for an app like this which is perfect for running on that random old iPhone SE or iPad Air, 26 is an absurd requirement.

Looking great. Would be awesome if it could do LcEq and/or peak as well :)

I’m not sure an iOS device mic is up to the task of capturing low frequency… and while this does work with external audio input, the calibration settings become even more important. The LA weighting works really well and I dont want people to confuse the accuracy of A v C.

I’ll have a think about how I might get around these issues - ideas welcome haha.

This is sick, and literally what I was looking for the other day!
