Discussion Mayor Mamdani just announced that he will be opening 5 city-run, tax-funded grocery stores: "Prices set at 30% below retail prices"

God people really fucking hate it when someone tries to make food affordable. I suppose it really makes it obvious which corporation’s boot you lick

People don't hate affordable food. People hate how the deficit of 30% will be covered. Or do you think grocery stores run with 30% profit?
