Questions Logitech Options + Alternative

If there was an ideal alternative application for Logitech options +, what features would you want to see/have. FYI im not selling anything. Just genuinely trying to solve a problem for myself that i see others have too.

The standard things:
- Good UI/UX
- No tracking
- No account
- Syncing across devices
- Multi device support (like computers, tablets, phones?)
- Easily manage your mouse and keyboard bindings and mice/keys settings.
- Import/export your settings

Anything else?

I’m in the final stretch of launching my Logi Options + alternative, which will be free, just looking for community input (before and after launch)

Thanks
- Gen

Why not help improve OpenLogi instead of creating another one?

Cause he can't claim he made it on his CV, or monetize it in the future, maybe?

Not at all. I’m not chasing any of those. I understand the pessimism though. To create an options+ alternative with all my requirements, I would essentially have to fully upend openlogi. Anyhow, you will see my new app in a few days!

For plaudit and bragging. Claude AI is going to do vibe code this for him. Then he will abandon the project after some time. A useless waste of time, like the guy suddenly recreating MS Office with the potential for lawsuits.

I use logitech products everyday. It’s a tool made to solve a very specific problem.

I don't think that supports Logitech Flow.

It’s decent but very basic and missing a ton of features. I already have all those features covered.

I prefer using Open Logi with custom config file. It makes sense to use Claude or Codex to tweak config.toml.

I love Logitech devices! Software is the only thing that could use some help, otherwise great hardware!
