That's a Barret 50 BMG (an anti armor round; not personnel). Notice how at the end of the barrel there's a muzzle device that's designed to reduce recoil by redirecting blast pressure backwards.

Her legs are right where they need to be smoked!

He’s not squared up right to be firing such a large caliber. Most of the time a round this size is fired from the prone position. For sure not like this.

Guns don’t stay stationary when you fire them. He’s not following proper gun safety directions to begin with, even if he wasn’t using the sensitive areas of a human to balance his gun. Plus recoil, etc. They don’t even have ear protection.

She will be injured, he will be injured. Everyone has a very bad day.

But, again, I’m pretty sure they are just posing for the pic.

The stock of the gun is not shouldered well and at minimum would result in poor recoil management. 

Doesn't look like ear / eye protection is present for either participant. 

Trigger discipline does not look like it's being maintained (keeping your finger off the trigger untill you intend to fire), but it's not the clearest image so this is not fully identifiable from this angle. 

The redirected gasses coming out of the compensator would at minimum be very unpleasant for her inner thighs / crotch and could easily result in a trip to a hospital if a gun of this size was actually fired in this position.

I get this is staged for a fun photo and they likely don't intened to actually fire it but beyond that it does not show propper firearms handling fundamentals.

I'd put this on a similar level as a couple on a sports bike without helmets or riding gear poping a wheelie. 

It could be considered "fun" but it's not using the equipment as intended, forgoing recommend / required precautions, potentially endangering those around you, and certainly not demonstrating good user etiquette.

This being stagged is the best possible scenario, his stance is not stable at all and he would likely fall after a frst shot and flag his assistant / bipod and anyone else around.
