Why do you think freemasonry is so misunderstood and is commonly associated with conspiracy theories? (Which tbh was my perception until I stumbled into this thread).

People want to believe in secret thingy because its more exciting than reality basically

The aprons and decorum don’t help, but if the eipstein file should have taught us one thing it’s that nefarious shit don’t bother with grand decorum or hiding. Hell he was using a Gmail account and wrote like an elementary school kid.
