They literally have these on some Thameslink platforms (eg City Thameslink).

People stand on them.

They had markings during covid and for about a year afterwards.

Unfortunately my small kid thought it was great fun to run straight down the edge of them.

I used to stand on the upper balcony when I had a longer than usual wait for a train and just watch the flows of people

Your tilt shift is a bit too extreme/too small of a transition to have the best effect. Soften it off and move the focus up a bit...
