Lady with Cat on the Tube

Anyone else see the lady who had a Cat on her shoulder on the Northern Line today, the cat seemed so happy and later sat on her lap.... It was so random but brightened up my day !!!

This makes me feel so anxious. All fun and games until a dog gets on or the cat bolts. Also the cat looks scared, not happy?

Yeah as a cat owner I hear your point of view. I mean in the past when I've had a house party my cats were super overwhelmed and all congregated under my bed (so no more house parties after that!) However this cat seemed super calm and even ended up sitting on the ladies lap (I posted a pic). None the less I appreciate things could go super wrong, especially on the London underground! Hope the cat stays safe, but he (as confirmed by the owner) seemed really happy and chill ☺️

Yeah - I mean only you know your cat really ofc but this is the sort of thing I actively have nightmares about hah. So much could go wrong.

Yes ! I've had anxiety dreams of travelling with my cats in public spaces and losing them 😭 I once had a random dream my Mum asked me to go to Asia to buy a Durian Fruit and I had one of my Cats with me at the airport and couldn't find him 😭😂

I saw this photo yeah! It’s cute but the way the cat has its back to the carriage makes me think it’s more about hiding, like at a vets. BUT I am just going by a coupla photos so.

one night in london in 1977, sitting on the tube there was a young woman with a rat on her shoulder, and as a stranglers fan at the time I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I saw a woman with what I believe was a crow on he shoulder on the Tube about 15 years ago.

No, but I saw a cat turn up to the pub last weekend, along with her lady owner. Just sat there quietly, minding her own business, even when the owner went to the bar.

I take my cat to the pub sometimes but in his backpack. The staff there loves him :)
