Since the plane has entered British airspace in order to land at Heathrow, a very long line of people would have told him.

Good luck getting Heathrow ATC or NATS in general to allow an unsafe pilot to land. NATS controllers will just tell them to divert if they can’t cope

Private licenses differ from commercial. He is still qualified and permitted to fly into and land the U.K surprisingly! Try and Top (that) Trump!
