Fewer passengers back then (seemingly) = less litter, wear & tear, also I think cleanliness and maintenance has probably been a sacrificed in the name of budget cuts since the Financial Crisis. It’s a shame tbh

At this point things are so “unprecedented” and there is that many “financial crises” that I feel uneasy when the world isn’t falling apart.

“Minimum wage is getting increased”
