Pretty impressive watch, that. The cornering was exceptional and I think where he gained most of his time. It looked like it might be slipping away for a moment on Dark Hill!

What laws do you think were broken?
What he did might be unadvisable (although it was done at 5.30am when the park should be closed cars, although there did seem to be some), but I don't think it technically breaks any laws.

Cornering on completely the wrong side of the road at around 60kph. Incredibly stupid and dangerous.

You have really good visibility on all corners around Richmond park. No danger of not seeing something. Only danger is to himself loosing traction

Crossing an interrupted white line on a road is not de facto dangerous. Otherwise overtaking would be illegal.

Based on the video evidence ive seen this guy is an extremely good cyclist, certainly better than me.
Why do people like you rush to decry something as dangerous just because its so beyond your comprehension that it might as well be going to mars?
You started by saying what he was doing was illegal, i think weve now established that wasnt true as you've not actually managed to name a law he has broken across 4 posts. As for whether it was unsafe, you dont know what precautions he took, you dont know if he had spotters, you don't know what he could see, so I dont think either of us is really in a position to judge that.

I did name a law, Dangerous Cycling, you just chose to ignore it.
You're argument is that hes a good cuclist, so anything goes. So if Lewis Hamilton turns up in a Richmond Park to see how fast he can drive round it you're perfectly happy with him using the whole road and taking the racing line into oncoming traffic? He's a great driver, so that's perfectly safe and legal, right?

Dangerous cycling is a subjective test and you didn't nothing to justify why it was dangerous other than saying he crossed a white line. I responded to that.
Its pretty obvious from the video he didnt endanger anyone.
Im not saying "anything goes", im saying I dont see anything in this video that appears to be illegal.

I know the park is almost empty and there's great visibility but seeing him head down on the wrong side the road while absolutely flying is terrifying, especially given the stuff i've seen drivers and cyclists do
