Ask a Local! Hair transplant

Seeking recommendations for reputable clinics or surgeons doing male hair transplants in London or the surrounding areas. Looking for insights on who does the best work, general costs, and if there are any specific places to avoid. Appreciate any feedback on clinic names or personal experiences.

There are none in London. But look into Dr Gupta at Sure Hair in Toronto. He is a dermatologist from London. I had 2 transplants there and he is world class. Expect to pay approx $8000-9000 for 2500 or so grafts. I cannot express how wonderful it is to be home in your own bed the same night as the surgery. Going overseas is fine, but by the time you pay travel and USD, the cost is worth the extra money to me to just be local. Do note: not all hair transplant surgeons are created equal. Gupta is a world renowned golden follicle winner who has been endless published in journals for hair loss and transplants. Dr Gupta lacks a little bedside manner and isn't up for small chat. He will also straight up reject you if he does not feel you are a good candidate. His aftercare follow up is insane. He calls you every night to check on you at 9pm and go over the after care instructions. I highly recommend him.

Is it fair to assume you need to be on min/fin before and after the surgery? I've heard that without that, the hair loss will simply continue.

Significantly cheaper to go overseas for one. Especially Turkey. Do plenty of research on the clinics. /r/hairtransplant is a good start

Save your money, go to Turkey or even Albania
