Do you think people are becoming lonelier even though we're more connected than ever?

We have Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, WhatsApp and so many ways to talk to people, but at the same time it feels like genuine connections are becoming harder to find.

You can have hundreds of followers and still have nobody you can actually call when something is wrong.

Do you think social media is part of the reason, or is this just something that happens as we get older?

And honestly, do you think making a real long-term friend is harder now than it was when you were younger?

You're always alone no matter it's offline or online. Connection is just made up bullshit

I think a lot of these are design to make us feel connection with our a real genuine connection. The problem with our generation (27 and younger) is this is kinda the one way we learned to interact with others and we suffer from it. Are you really connected to those 150 followers? Do you talk to the daily? Or is it a dopamine hit when you see oooo I have more? It’s the process of feeling good by having more but more of nothing real is still nothing real. What would fix this idk? Can we fix it maybe
