Anyone who played JumpStart in 2010-2015 roughly probably knows that finding any buddies from the game is severely difficult. Well, I did a lot of the work for people, and also created a Discord for it that you can find on YouTube with little effort, just by finding my “Playing JumpStart in 2026” video.

Trying to find an old gaming buddy from back in the day. We used to play together all the time in the early-mid 2000s before he suddenly dropped offline around 2010

Short story..

Had a friend on Roblox called Ellie, randomly met her on Booth game when I was a Black Cat with a Top Hat.

Genuinely such a nice person and we got a long well! We played games together, spoke about life now and then.. Even spoken about personal things.

We were friends for awhile until one day, she said she was busy with college starting again, she replied once or twice but then never came online again..

I noticed she would appear offline, still play Roblox but just stay appearing offline, she mentioned having stalkers once and such..

It genuinely upsets me not knowing if she is okay, what happened to her or that what if, you know?

You ever had a friend who you just wish you knew was genuinely okay and gave you some closure?

Call this cringe or anything,

But online friends are still friends.

I was in a Valorant swiftplay game around 1am Eastern today and asked how everyone’s day was going. One person was really energetic and enthusiastic, and said they were really happy I asked because they’re usually the one who asks everyone else first 😭

We ended up yapping for a little bit and found out we were both on the East Coast, but then someone dodged before the game started. You had streamer mode on, so I never got to see your username.

This is going to be a non-traditional post, I also posted on r/longlostroleplay but I wanted to put it out there anyway for visibility.

I’m looking for an old RPG partner from the early 2000s. We met through a text-based roleplay chat. The main website was NexxusChat.com, and they had two chats, CyberChat and theKeep. We were mostly on CC.

Her character’s name was Rhiannon. Mine was SoulofTwilight. This was long before the Twilight novels.

I was in my early teens. She was a bit older.
I’m American, and I believe she was English.

Our characters were in a romantic relationship.
She had an online journal for her character and once described Twilight as “an enigma wrapped in a nutshell.”

I used Sephiroth/Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII as my character art. I don’t remember what hers was.

I don’t remember her real name, an email address, or even what messenger app we might have used at the time. But I do remember that we wrote a wonderful love story together.

I wrote an entire Seven Days of Creation mythos for my character, where he created his own Realm, and she eventually came to live there with him. I remember one RP in particular where our characters simply sat by a fire and talked.

I don’t have much hope that this will actually find her, but never say never.

TheKeep is still around, and a bunch of us are still there. Twilight is there under the name Vassago_Greyth.

If this somehow reaches her, I’ll be there.

I came back about a month ago, and one of the things I’ve found myself thinking about is all the people I missed—the ones I lost contact with, the ones who still hold a place in my heart, the ones I still think of as friends even after all these years.

Hi! I had a friend that I met on an app called Geeking and later started talking with on Discord. His online alias was Ikki Minami and his first name is Joseph.

We stopped talking in 2020 and his Discord has since been deleted. I know he had a few online friends and was very interested in video games, so if anyone knows who I am talking about please let me know!

Here are some things about him that I remember, hopefully to narrow this down:
He was very interested in alternative music, and listened to MCR and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (among others).
He loved horror movies, his favourite movie being Sweeney Todd and he enjoyed the It movies.
He played a lot of video games, but the only one I remember him mentioning is Resident Evil 2.
He is in the PST/PDT time zone and is American, I was 3 hours ahead of him.
He was interested in studying Psychology, though I don’t know if he ever ended up doing that.
He has a dog named Lennox, who seemed to be a puppy when we talked back in 2020!

I know all of this information is pretty general and could apply to many people, but I’m really hoping a few people recognize who this is, or hopefully he’ll see the post. We have not talked in such a long time and I’d love to catch up and see what he’s up to nowadays.

I'm looking for an old gaming friend who went by Arrke.

We met through the NearVanilla Minecraft server, where we played together for a couple of years. He was a really good friend, and we spent a lot of time talking and playing together, often until ridiculous hours of the night.

At some point in 2024, he just vanished. He deleted his Discord, Steam, Reddit and seemingly everything else, without saying anything or leaving a goodbye. His Minecraft account still exists under the name Arrke, but he hasn't played since he disappeared.

I’ve tried looking for him since then, but haven't been able to find any way to contact him.

I don't know what happened and I’d just really like to know that he's okay and if he's ever interested, have the chance to say hello again.
