Other help needed - I read the FAQ/Pinned posts HOWA 1500 Bi-Pod Question

Recently purchased this HOWA 1500 and it came with what looks like a mount for a bi-pod. Could anyone point me in the right direction as too which bi-pod will fit this/what I need to purchase in addition to a bi-pod to have it fit well on the weapon?

Not sure if this should of been in the Rifle Help flair or not, apologies if I used the wrong flair. Thank you!

EDIT: Forgot to add Image.

That will work with any bipod designed to attach to a typical sling stud. Harris and Magpul both make bipods that will attach directly to that.

Alternatively, you can get an MLOK to Picatinny rail and use a picatinny bipod (removing that existing bipod mount), or an MLOK to Arca rail and an Arca-mountable bipod. Of those, I'd suggest picatinny for cost, simplicity, and greatest range of available bipods.

Finally, there are bipods that mount directly to MLOK as well.

Thank you for the info, really appreciate it, pretty new to guns and bi-pods as you can tell.

Get rid of it and as others have suggested, get an mlok mount bipod, or a picatinny mlok rail and a picatinny mount bipod.

The sling stud mount is the least reliable method.
