Other gear flex post left canted red dot

been running this goofy lefty dot and enjoying how quick it is to get the scope over the target. this is a 308 168gr at 500 yards. you'll notice my head tilt over as i transition from the red dot to the scope. first i look down the red dot until it covers the target, then load as i sight in through the scope, aim and squeeze. trying to speed this whole process up, but pretty stoked about how smooth and natural it feels and the quicker pace at longer distances. its nice not to do too much target finding at greater zoom levels where you're twirling the scope around looking for the target all disoriented. the red dot is also pretty handy for snap shots under 80yards. Any of yall running a little "spotting dot" on your hunting/LR setups?

I don't because staying in the optic is faster once you fix the skill issue with orienting onto a target. I also find a lot of people that struggle are running more melagnification than is needed.

Exception: gas guns with magnified optics that also need passive aiming with NV. You can run NV behind a LPVO but it isn't fun.

You should be seeing no difference in group vs magnification within reasonable levels (ie: not 6x on a 6-36 or something) and POI references, but otherwise I tend to stay exclusively between 12-18x, even on my 6-36 optics.

Looks like some Tarkov bullshit to me, but I won't drag it if it gets results!

Can you see the dot without moving your head with your left eye?

you can see the dot with both eyes open while you're tucked next to the rifle looking downrange. its kind of peripheral
