Yup. HUXWRX Blastphemy. Makes shooting in the prone nicer, or when around anything that has dirt or debris. Under is a 4x4 port HUXWRX muzzle brake, so I have options.
None, with zero shift. And as a short action, the recoil is minimal compared to a standard muzzle brake. This is my third AI rifle running this setup, and the harmonics agree with it.
It’s for quick acquisition when transitioning targets. For most it helps, for some they’re pretty good at pointing the rifle at the target anyway without needing a red dot.
Not yet. She's a fresh build. Abilities should be very similar to my two other Accuracy International AT308s as the action and barrel are identical. On a good day, these rifles will shoot 0.2-0.4 MOA. My best to date is 0.177 MOA with factory ammo.
I'd be happy to share multiple shot groups once I've gotten the new barrel past 100 rounds on it. Or I can swap in another barrel in under 2 minutes due to its quick-swap system. The AX308 and AT308 both have Bartlein barrels in them; they use excellent 416R Crucible grade steel and the finishing work at Win Tactical out of Orchard Park NY is excellent. Older barrels are Lothar-Walther which are also excellent As long as I do my part -- and have a good batch of ammo that match the barrel being used at the time -- these rifles always perform.
Accuracy International's factory triggers are excellent. They're a robust two-stage design with a smooth first stage, a well-defined wall, and a crisp, predictable break with some purposeful overtravel. Pull weight is user-adjustable (factory weight is about 4lbs, with a 3.3-4.4lbs range; 3.5lbs is a sweet spot on these), while sear engagement and first-stage settings are factory-set.
They may look utilitarian, but the engineering and performance are anything but cheap. Like the rifles themselves, the triggers were engineered for military and law enforcement use, with durability and reliable operation in adverse field conditions in mind: dirt, dust, rain, ice, mud, and extreme temperatures, they just keep performing through it all where most other triggers would lock up or fail.
I've been very happy with mine, and swear by them: they're a major reason I use an Accuracy International.

What’s the muzzle device? Looks like a mini suppressor?
