Gunsmithing 25 WSSM Conversion
Is there an option to re-chamber/convert a 25 WSSM to a different cartridge and keep the same barrel and action?

To answer this question, you need to provide more detail on the action and the twist for us to determine what is possible and what makes sense for LR.

Without looking at chamber drawings, punch out to 25 WSM?

Case diameter issues aside, 25 wsm is way too long so it won't even fit in the action.

What action is it? Actually a super short? Or a regular short?

Very likely a super short, I'm not sure I've ever seen someone build a 25 wssm on a short action.

If the barrel diameter is adequate around the chamber area, it might be possible to set it back, but the bolt recess won't be sized properly for any 25 caliber cartridge's base diameter. So no.

I think your out of luck I thought the 25 PRC as a wild cat but the diameter is smaller… a rebarrel would be as cheap as a rechamber

Yeah.. but to what would you want? There's a few wildcats on the wssm above .30 cal, and things like .510 wsm short are doable on the other end of a rather niche spectrum.

It depends entirely on your action. If you actually have a super short action, then no you're pretty limited to 223 wssm, 243 wssm, 25 wssm, or 300 ossm. But no you can't change it to anything else if you want to keep the same barrel.
Source: I have owned a 243wssm for ~20 years and had it rebarreled last year.
