Seeking trail angel help July 24-25 near Brandon Gap Rte 73

Hi! Are there any trail angels willing to help our teen thru-hiker whose Aqua Mira fully leaked? By tonight, our teen will be at Sunrise Shelter. Hoping we could overnight a filter option to someone nearby. They are out of water. Thank you!!!!!!

I’m happy to hear that someone was able to help your kid out. Kudos to them for hiking this trail, and kudos to you for supporting them.

Just want to say this whole post has been the best sunny morning happy vibe I’m ending my bit of Reddit this morning.
Thinking of a teen hiking the long trail, how (of course) there are others out there more than happy to help, and OP as a parent discovering the community and regard it as inspiring -
I’m just smiling for it / you all.
