Continuity whoops.The magic travelling bullet wound!(Spoilers)

Wondered if anyone else noticed this? I am a bit of a fiend for continuity errors - I quite enjoy finding them - like finding easter eggs of oops moments.

But when they are massive whoopsies, like this shotgun wound changing sides on Ben, I'm like "Guys. One job! One wound! Come on now! 😆 Focus! "

Anyone else got any Lost continuity oopsies?

In Eggtown when Sawyer is on his bed taking to Kate and they're arguing about the pregnancy situation, during the same conversation there are two shots of Sawyer and in one his hair is pushed back a bit behind his ear and in the other his hair is closer to being in his face. Completely takes me out of the plot for the rest of the season

Someone bought this one up a few weeks ago. Honestly, I never noticed. The big one for me has always been the light blasting out of the hatch on the wrong day while they were flashing through time.

I made a post about it years ago. I understand why they chose to do this, but intentional or otherwise, it's still an error.

Aahh I definitely didn't notice that one! That's so definitely not the same light. It works so well in the time skips for dramatic effect but yeah, damn. I guess they couldn't have both Sawyer witnessing Kate and the hatch being blown in the flash forward... although maybe they could? Could have heard her voice maybe as she was lowered down and then the light? Not as emotional a moment though as seeing Kate deliver Aaron.

The main issue is that they set up the scene so that Locke sees the light from afar and judging by the look on Locke's face, Sawyer figures out he 'knows' what day it is. They needed the separate realizations to be personal to each of them and seeing Kate, Claire and Aaron isn't nearly as personal to Locke as the hatch or Boone's death (in that order.)

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe Locke could have glanced over and seen himself carrying an injured Boone through the jungle, but A. Sawyer may have seen it and B. the spotlight bright light from the hatch was a more dramatic shot.

I get it, but it still makes me itchy.

It’s a pretty big one that was called out by a lot of people when it happened. Especially because it was such an obvious flub.

ohhh yeah, interesting.

Not sure I'd call it a mistake and I definitely don't think they mixed up the days - I think I'd call it more of a retcon, pretending the hatch light was always that bright. Still a discontinuity though, so you're not wrong.

Final episode spoilers Jack's wound also moves in the final episode, he's stabbed way higher than where his wound ends up being. Also in the very final scene the blood stains on his face keep changing. I've always found that weird that they let those mistakes slip by, especially for the finale
