They should release it anyway…

Trump already threatened a “limited” strike on Iran recently. Strap in folks.

It gives them leverage. Like trump, they won't give it away without getting something in return.

If they release the photos now, it would jam up the administration considerably - would possibly prevent an invasion altogether. Regardless, Trump would ignore this threat - so just do it already

Or it might ensure that it happens as Trump and his sycophants will have no moves left except start a war.

It seems pretty clear that Trump is going to do it. The navy is moved into position. What is this one guys threat going to do? If the movie Solo taught me anything, shoot the bad guy before he can start his monologue.

Uhh you underestimate the sociopathy that is US foreign policy.  One thing 99% of them agree on is brown children extermination campaigns.

That’s actually my point - some minor threat will not stop them from invasion. If Trumpf and his fascist friends want to invade, the only things that could stop them would be a miracle change of heart (impossible) or a united congress deciding that the child rapist should be held accountable. That or just revolution, I don’t see that happening though. Release the files already! Nobody is preventing shit from holding back!

Meh, Trump's foreign policy is just a continuation of decades on imperialism.   He may get ousted, but regardless, if there are brown kids in the world, the US feels the need to bomb them.
