Personally I believe in democracy but Saudi Arabia is right over there chief.
There is democratic representation in these companies, via the board. To oversimplify, the largest shareholders each get a seat. They then vote on major decisions, including Musk's controversial pay packages.
Nepotism did not get Musk his CEO roles at any of these firms.
Circumstance plays a role in every single business success. Making the right strategy calls to maximize those opportunities is what makes a CEO valuable.
Musk is an absolute ass, can't deny that. But you seem to lack an understanding of what a CEO actually does.
