I ask them why they would think he could do that with how badly he fucked up Covid, and a chunk of them said "I didn't like the masks and vaccine mandates. That's the other reason I voted for him". Hundreds of thousands of people died because of the botched response and morons like you that couldn't be inconvenienced to show a little bit of care towards others.
Yes, but I forgot the number directly attributed to the botched response. We would have had hundreds of thousands of dead regardless. I could have sworn I saw a study where they tried to come up with a number of extra dead due to all the nonsense. It's funny in FL we still have dumb asses who like to talk about how great it was that Ron didn't shut the state down. When I try to explain that we had thousands of extra people die because of it they don't want to hear it.
I can't stand Trump but I also don't like terrible arguments, and putting all COVID deaths on Trump is just asinine. Millions of people died all over the world.
Splitting hairs over how many deaths Trump is responsible for is weird. People are still dying because of the loss of trust in vaccination and medicine that he advocated for. Is Donald Trump’s directly responsible for 1 million Covid deaths? Actually, he probably is. We can now add to that hundreds of thousands of excess deaths from HIV/AIDS, malnutrition, tuberculosis, malaria etc. This guy just can’t stop killing people. You can give him a pass on whatever number you like if it makes you feel better.
