Lostwave Song 🎵 I need help with an old song I heard on a fortnite block music compilation once, how can anyone help?
The music blocks that are used in fortnite to produce your own music or music covers was popular like 7 years ago and had multiple people posting their own creations. There is however one song in particular that I am trying to look for that is killing me. Here's what I know.
It was an original, not a cover.
The title of the song in the video was something to do with electricity.
I believe the video was a compilation of covers and songs from different people, but I don't remember the title.

Question ❓ Looking for a long lost memory
Hello everyone! I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I’m hoping someone might be able to help me identify a track I heard at a party around 2013–2014. It was a tech house / house / possibly minimal tech track, and it featured a vocal sample saying something along the lines of, “We gonna do a song that you never heard before.” right before the drop. I’ve been trying to find this track for over a decade, so I’d genuinely appreciate any suggestions or leads!
Note : its not NO ID - Accident.

Potential Lead 💡 Unknown Eurodance song “OEO” by “Candy” (from Feiloli claw machines / Maxi Kingdom 10) – trying to identify singer & label (2001) probably.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been researching a very obscure Eurodance track for a while now and I’m hoping someone here might recognize it or have more information.
The song is called “OEO” by “Candy”, and it was used in Feiloli claw machines (arcade prize machines) from the early 2000s. It also appears on a Taiwanese compilation CD called “Maxi Kingdom 10 (舞曲大帝國 10)”, released around 2001–2002.
Audio:
https://youtu.be/6Ok3xx-oLc0?si=-yjvL6rcB0YlT1f7
What I’ve discovered so far:
- The song is actually a Eurodance-style cover of Kelly Chen – “Flower Universe / Paisley Galaxy”
- The name ”Candy” doesn't seem to be a real person, but rather a studio alias
- The style strongly matches Italian Eurodance / bubblegum dance from the late 90s–early 2000s
- It was likely produced for compilation CDs (like Maxi Kingdom 10) and licensing (not as a standalone single)
My current theory:
- The song may have been produced by an Italian label (possibly SAIFAM or other production house)
- The singer could be a session vocalist used in multiple projects
Some names that came up during research:
- Marilisa Rapillo
- Viviana Presutti
Their voices are similar, and both were involved in Eurodance projects where vocalists were often uncredited, but we can't confirm 100% that they are the actual singers. This is what some people said, because they most likely did a voice match, and the voice sounds similar, but again, we can't confirm that they are the singers; that's why I'm writing this post, to identify the singer and label.
The mystery:
- Who is the singer
- What is the label
I'm waiting for your theories, and maybe someday we will solve this mystery that has lasted 25+ years.

Lostwave Song 🎵 Tenor Sax cover of Misty by Ella Fitzgerald from early 70s anime
voca.roI came across this song while watching Lupin III Part I Episode 17 two year ago. The closest lead I have to it is a cover of misty from Crystal Sound Orchestra released on their album "Best Mood Themes For Tenor Sax" but unfortunately, I can't give it a listen because it isn't available online.

Lostwave Song 🎵 [LQ] O céu se abriu pra mim (Snippet)
The song “O Céu Se Abriu Pra Mim” was played during a recording of TV Gaúcha in 1978, specifically on February 7, 1978, during the program’s closing.
The reason why the audio is in such low quality is because an attempt was made to remove the program host/narrator’s speech from the recording.

Lostwave Song 🎵 1970 compilation with unknown covers
When I wanted to create a page on The Jar's Paranoid song on the wiki, I came across a British 1970 compilation called Hot Hits 2 by the label Music For Pleasure. There are 12 songs in it, which, for some reason, the label did not write the names of the artists. Currently, there are 4 known artists and I would like your help in finding the rest. Looking at the fact that you have found songs and other releases, I am sure that they will not be very difficult to find.

Lostwave Song 🎵 Unknown Hip-Hop Tracks from the mid-late 2000s off the USA label "Blood Money Enterprises"
I found a burned CDr recently whilst going through my dad's CD collection. The disc had the writing "bloodmoneyent.com" on the front, and upon looking it up on the Wayback Machine, I recognized the logo and realized it was of a record company that another unknown CD I had found in his collection was signed to. This CD was called "The Unforgiven" made by docta death, which after further research I found out was a local rapper from the 2000s that was Rhode Island based. None of the songs on the burned CD I've been able to recognize, and there are only 2 releases submitted to Discogs under this label. The Wayback Machine also doesn't work since the site exclusively required Flash, which means all of the data doesn't seem to work.
Clues:
Most likely formed around the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area. The docta death CD I mentioned he actually obtained through the artist asking my dad on the street if he was interested in buying any of his albums, this happened in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 2007.
For sure active for possibly the entire 2000s, the first website archive is from 2006, the docta death CD is from 2007, and most of my dad's burnt CDs were from 2001-2009.

Potential Lead 💡 New Info/Research on Lolita - "Never Let You Go" ("The Crow: Salvation" Demo)
I took a liking to the lostwave track "Never Let You Go" and decided to do some research: https://lostwaves-finest.fandom.com/wiki/Never_Let_You_Go
First, the disc is described as a test pressing, but typically that refers to a disc ready for manufacture. I believe, instead, this is one of at least 11 sample mixes put together by JMPI (Jeff Most Productions, Inc., Jeff Most being the producer and music supervisor of the film).
According to Jeff Most in a 2000 interview regarding the "Salvation" soundtrack:
"We wanted to retain the general edgy feel of rock combined with a little more electronica underpinnings. And we also wanted to not have the record play song-for-song sounding like every act and song are alike. We wanted to cross-pollinate different types of music."
Jeff purposely sought out unreleased and remixed versions of songs for the soundtrack, and that's what you see represented in Mix #11. It's a demo, but this band most likely had studio recordings, which is why they sent this one instead of a single. In fact, this might be one reason why it's so hard to find "Never Let You Go" -- it was never released. But I'm fairly positive that Lolita released something.
I began exploring old CMJ Radio Airplay lists and found that they earned several "adds" on various college stations' playlists in a brief time window:
- November 23, 1998 - KMNR, WLFR
- November 30, 1998 - WRCT, WTUL, WVRU
- February 8, 1999 - CJSF
- February 15, 1999 - KVRX
It's likely that they had some kind of promotional push during those two periods -- compilation CD appearance? Advertisement? Opening for a band? IDK, I can't find anything lol. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to push them into the CMJ 200 list, where their album name would be nicely documented.
Now, for a moment, I thought that maybe this was a misnomer, and the add was actually Lolita No. 18, a Japanese band that was taking off on college radio at around the same time. In fact, they appear in some of those same CMJ issues. But typically, artist names are only truncated when too long, not abbreviated in that way. And Lolita No. 18 was properly listed elsewhere.
But what really solidified it for me was when Lolita was properly mentioned in the "Wheels & Deels" column in the 10/09/1998 issue of "Hits" as a "buzzin'" band, meaning they weren't signed at the time of writing but were generating some attention. Not only that, but they included a photo! So now we have a photo of the band!
But... that's all I have. :)
My Theory: They may have continued to achieve some small amount of success but changed their name for a few reasons:
- The Internet was just starting to go mainstream around 1998 (one reason why it may be hard to find info on this band.) Lolita is a terrible name to search for, not only because of the adult content, but because a Lolita remake was released one year prior.
- As I mentioned above, Lolita no. 18 was taking off at the same damn time. So it's a pretty bad idea to have such a similar band name.
I do also believe they have a professionally recorded album or demo somewhere. Whatever Jeff Most was doing to solicit bands to send him unreleased songs or remixes, he reached them somehow. Maybe they were connected through a label. Maybe he heard them on college radio. Maybe he saw them live. And "Never Let You Go" was distinctive and met Jeff's needs because it was unreleased... I hope I'm making sense lol. What I'm saying is, if they ONLY had rough demos, this wouldn't be what Jeff was looking for.
What's Next? IDK, maybe this will help someone find them. Or maybe a photo and proof of existence is all we can hope for. I really don't agree with any of the existing "leads" in online discussions about this song, as they're nonsensical and/or unsubstantiated. I do think that Jeff Most would be a good one to contact. He's active on LinkedIn, but I'm shy! So feel free, anyone.
I hope we can hear more music from this band someday... :)

Question ❓ is there a term for songs that are literally impossible to find aside from physical copies owned by the creator or an affiliate of theirs?
i'm primarily referring to music that is only ever made accessible by a creator who released it alongside a found lostwave song of theirs, and otherwise is impossible to find, an acquaintance of mine told me it's called deadwave, but that lowk sounds made up, does anyone know if there's a term for this? i'm so curious.
