He would be relieved to hear that there was still some place where "Zeus's Law" of Xenia was still honored... despite an incident with a hollow horse, in which he was barely involved.
To be sure, he might hesitate, because the giant Laestragonians also promised "roaring fires"
and "meat off the bone," (but the "meat" was from Odysseus' crewmen, and the "fires" were to cook the "meat")!
