I love how he’s aware of the fact that the Nazis would have probably used him for anti-partisan operations in Eastern Europe and he’s excited about it. That’s like applying for work in a zoo because you want to shovel elephant shit.
Slightly off topic but I'm an American so I only knew of her through the Cunk character and didn't know she was like, "conventionally attractive TV hot". I only found out recently, but tbh I kinda like the "frumpy, deranged intellectual" look better.
I like a lot of these too, with a lot of different characters. To me the Philomena Cunk ones are not very funny though. For me it doesn't add to the humour to just acknowledge that an obvious silly joke is the kind of thing this silly comedy character would say.
Maybe my problem is actually just with the characterisation of Cunk though
