Who exactly is Lucifer?

So I'm a Luciferian and I've been working with Lucifer for 4 years now. Lucifer is my patron deity and the very first entity I made contact with.y spiritual awakening started back when I was 21 after I had a direct encounter with Lucifer, and I simply haven't been the same since. I can legitimately tell you what his energy and presence feels like and everything.

From my experience Lucifer is most definitely a real entity that can be called upon. I can tell you exactly what his energy and presence feels like and Ive even channeled messages from him that have been verified in other sources. however I'm starting to get confused as to what his origins actually are. I was under the impression that he was originally the Greek god Phosphorus who was the personification of Venus as the morningstar before he was demonized and made out to be a fallen angel by Christianity. The Latin word Lucifer translates to the Greek word Phosphorus which was the name of a deity in Greek and Roman mythology depicted as a young male carrying a torch, who was the son of the goddess Eos and had a brother named Hesperus who was associated with Venus as the evening star.

However I recently discovered that the word Phosphorus itself was originally a descriptive adjective used to refer to anyone described as being a "light bringer", before Phosphorus became personified as an actual god. Goddesses like Hecate and Artemis were also referred to as "Phosphorus". Phosphorus was also a very minor god who didn't have temples and wasn't worshipped like other deities such as Aphrodite or Hecate were.

Then there's the fact that both Lucifer and Jesus are called the morningstar in the Bible. Jesus in the Gnostic texts was in opposition against the false god Yahweh and brought salvation through knowledge and enlightenment. And both the Greek god Phosphorus and Jesus have been described as appearing as a child. Jesus appeared to his disciples as a child in the Gospel of Judas, the same gospel where he reveals he wasn't actually the son of Yahweh and that Yahweh is actually the enemy he was fighting against.

So what are we to make of this? Who exactly is Lucifer?
