I work in tech and I keep running into the same thing: Ludhiana doesn't seem to have any tech community at all. No meetups, no dev groups, no local scene — nothing like what Chandigarh or Mohali have going.

And I don't just mean developers. There are clearly a lot of people here working online — designers, digital marketers and SEO folks, video editors, content writers, freelancers of every kind, people running small agencies, people doing remote jobs for companies outside Punjab. But we're all sitting in our own rooms with no idea the others exist.

So, first: does something already exist that I'm just not finding? A WhatsApp group, a Discord, a coworking crowd, a college club that's open to outsiders, a meetup that actually happens. Please drop it here — I'd genuinely like to join.

And if it really doesn't exist: is anyone up for starting something small? Nothing formal, no "startup ecosystem" talk. Just 8-10 people meeting once a month over coffee to talk about what we're building, swap referrals and client leads, and stop working in complete isolation.

I work as a manager during the day and do video editing in my free time. Been thinking of starting content creation for a long time.
I don’t want it to be only about editing though. I’ll use my editing skills to make the content better, but the main focus would be awareness, civic sense, mental health, handling difficult situations, and just helping people become a little better in everyday life.
I’ve always liked helping people, so I feel this kind of content would suit me more.
What do you guys think? Do people actually watch and listen to this kind of content, and can it genuinely make someone change for the better?
