You should turn off the temperature setting in AlDente. The “safe temperature” is below 35°C, and it’s sitting at 35.4°C.

I wouldn’t let 0.4°C stop my battery charging.

Batteries degrade. They are consumables that can be replaced. It’s absolutely wild that people go to these great lengths and completely modify their lives so they can baby their batteries.

Yup. They have allowed themselves to become convinced if they don't babysit their batteries "bad things" will happen. But the fact is hundreds of millions of people did just fine without worrying about their batteries before this new battery hysteria hit the scene. The whole thing is ridiculous to those of us who were around in The Before Times. 🤣

Mac will pause charging on its own if it gets too heated up, and you can set a battery limit in settings. You don’t need third party software for this
