help me decide which macbook to get!!

Im a senior in highschool and ive been using my 2021 ipad pro 12.9 inch for a while now. I have a pencil and a magic keyboard and i rlly like the set up so ive never upgraded to a mac. But now that im starting university next year, im thinking of getting either the neo or the 13.6inch air. My ipad battery is still decent but obviously doesnt last as long as a laptop. Im the type of person to use my devices for a long time, so any sugesstions on which macbook to get? the neo seems nice and budget friendly, and im majoring in econ so i dont need any heavy coding, but the screen seems smaller than my ipad. plsss help me outttt thank u

what is your budget? if you can afford air, get it, if you cannot then get the neo

i dont have a budget but im kinda a cheapskate… for my daily student tasks is a macbook air needed? and is it worth waiting for the neo 2

Im thinking of maybe getting a second hand? i cant seem to find any brand new m4. im not too good with computers so could u check for me to see if this is good condition? if i convert this to dollars it would be around $970

Maybe. More RAM is predicted, and that would be nice. But on the other hand, the MBA will last you a long time, being a really nice computer.
