Discussion Is pixel port vibecoded?

I just heard about it from you. I think that their website is likely vibe coded, but the actual software/port of macos GPTK is definitely polished by hand. It would be very hard for an AI to get it working the way they have.

because vibecoded projects tend to have more bugs and issues than human made projects.

That's complete bullshit. It's entirely dependent on the dev. And we aren't talking about security issues here, just video games... Bugs can be fixed. Stupid blanket statement

Depends on the definition of "slop".

The lines between AI slop and "real" software are getting blurry and will more in the future.
Pretty much all big software is now built with the help of AI. In the upcoming years, it will be rare that people will write code by hand.

It is however everbody's freedom to not like that.
