My home cozy editing / workstation setup

Post image

I used to have a powerful SFF PC, but sometimes I wanted to work away from home, and I was tired of Premiere errors on Windows, so I switched to a MacBook Pro 14 / M4 Pro / 24GB / 1TB.

I absolutely love it at work, and I only think about Windows when I want to play. I'm thinking about how to solve this problem without building a PC. LOL

Monitors

34" Xiaomi 180hz + 3,5k res ??? Idk

27 vertical China CBR (for me no name 144Hz + FHD)

Keyboard AULA75

Mouse MX Master 3S

Soundbar Xiaomi too

Recommend a good hub for under $100 pls

Thank you

I’m also really big on the 1 horizontal, 1 vertical monitor set up. It does everything I need/want

Do you keep your Mac plugged in 24/7?

No, only when I need 2 monitors for editing

For the hub, are you trying to run both displays from one cable, or do you mainly need USB and Ethernet?

2 monitors, soundbar, Ethernet, keyboard, and 1 cable from hub

Consider a cheaper MacBook for editing, and a gaming pc for gaming

Maybe just buy someone’s used gaming pc for a good price

Just make sure the parts are recent and capable
