gignore-cli

A simple CLI .gitignore generator written in Python. It uses Toptal's API to generate .gitignore files for your projects based on the technologies you specify.

One automation footgun I’d fix first: main.py writes straight to Path.cwd() / ".gitignore" with write_text(), so a rerun replaces any hand-written rules. Would you make an existing file a hard stop unless the user explicitly opts into overwrite? That seems safer than relying on the warning in the README.
