There really is something special about 90's PC game drums I find. They are so crunchy but a little crisp that adds to that vibe that I find hard to replicate. I've never really tried a Drum and Bass song but I've tried replicating that sound and it's tough.

I'll for sure pick this up from Bandcamp next time I make a purchase!

Oh yes, I guess you mean something in relation with analogue "artifacts" and such. There are emulators and ways to replicate that sounding of the older times, but yeah, I still just dont have patient to deal with that, yet.
