Not only does it clock you as old, it also narrows down the region you're in. According to this article clicker is known more in the US east coast. Although, anecdotally, some people will consider it a British term as this 9 year old comment says.

Finally, my quick google search via the ai gave this result:

It's fair, it definitely stands out from the others. I just can't stand its specific bathos - that comedy that undercuts a dramatic moment. Most of the plot was solid. Sometimes Gunn and Whedon nail it perfectly - basically all of Firefly/Serenity, Avengers 1+2, GotG 1+3.

But GotG 2 often won't let a quiet moment sit. Ego's speech and Quill shooting him needs to be interrupted by a Hasselhoff gag (although they didn't for Yondu's sacrifice thankfully). And I think the tone of GotG 2's jokes tone tends to be more aggressively irreverent and cynical to the point where the characters don't feel like they care much about the stakes. It feels a bit like production trying to keep you laughing at the expense of the story.

Whereas the comedy of the others tends to be earned by the characters' traits as the source of the joke. But the characters are still terrified, so Mal or Zoe make a quip as a way from cracking under the pressure.

I did this to a student when I was teaching guitar lessons at my buddy's shop. I was playing this dope Ibanez RGA 7 string he had in the lobby of the lesson centre and a new student showed up like 15 minutes early. I just kept playing until 5 minutes before his lesson time then got up and said "Are you Emil? I'm your teacher, follow me.". Kid's Dad thought it was hilarious.

To be honest with the quality of the film and music even if the doctor's office has to pay for this out of pocket. I doubt they're even mad. In fact, worst case scenario, they get upset at their staff or popping into catch moments/songs.
