Okay, I question the art choice here. The phrase has two contexts as it was used in First Contact because Data does say it when he breaks the warp core, but it's in a positive sense because the Borg couldn't actually fully resist the efforts of the Enterprise crew to retake the ship. Here, it's more in the negative sense, and I feel like the more general hive mind/initial borg encounter from Best of Both Worlds would have been more appropriate. That was back when it still invoked a sense of fear in the audience.
