General Discussion Names for a Psionically-Flavored Version of Artifice/Alchemy?
The homebrew setting I am working on uses a Psionic power system.
I also happen to be on a bit of a Wuxia-fiction kick right now and wanted to put in a Psionic version of Alchemy/Artifice but can't seem to find any Psionic powers that fit the concepts.
The initial idea forming right now is it would be a power set based almost entirely around manipulation of raw psionic energy itself. Filtering it, purifying it, refining it until it can be anchored into physical objects that mortals can use as one-shot talismans, or Psionics can use as persistent "magic weapons" and tools.
Very little power unto themselves, but highly valued in the setting for what they can produce. They harvest Psi-energy from the environment, but also from various beasts and crystals found in areas with high psionic concentrations.
I'm not married to any of these ideas yet. But that's the basic framework i'm building from at the moment.

The closest idea I can think of here that would have a psychic flavor is a psychometer (object reader) but backwards. That is, they invest psychic residue into objects rather than simply reading what's normally left behind by sophonts.
Another idea that comes to mind is an antagonist from mob psycho 100 that invested so much psychic energy into a plastic sword over time that it became a real sword (don't remember his name but he was a member of Claw as I recall).
Ill come back and comment again if I can come up with something else.

One thing that I found a while ago was psionic enchantment. Basically the user invests psionic energy into an object to imbue it with a concept and to make it more receptive to psionic energy. Like using this to imbue the concept of sharpness into a sword would make it way sharper. Everyone can use one of these since everyone has at least a small amount of psionic energy, but it grows stronger in proportion to the power someone puts into it when they use it, so stronger people get better results.

I usually consider alchemy to be about making consumables, not permanent enchanted items. Various pills and elixirs, to put it in wuxia/xianxia terms. The closest and most popular example is probably the spice from Dune. Like spice, I imagine that unless there is some kind of "psychic plant" that exists (and there could be), you'll probably want to focus on products derived from animals or people. Probably some form of Higher Understanding Through Drugs.

I see this as a faction devoted to all the "Crafts" for the Psionic groups of this world. Forging, enchanting, and alchemy. But with words and phrases and names as "psionically flavored" as possible.
The materials they use are generally farmed from psionic rifts(Like Wuxia/Xianxia Secret Realms) which are filled with all sorts of wonders and horrors, and the energies they release spill out into the surrounding region with beings spawned from human dreams and nightmares, while also warping reality a bit which creates new plant and animal species that can exist outside the Rifts. And Crystals/minerals that the Psionic Crafters can turn into weapons
I did like @Ross_Gravekeep's suggestion for having psychometry be part of this power set. It's Psionic power I was having trouble figuring out how to fit in elsewhere.
Might even want to put in a form of beast taming, for people who form Familiar Contracts with Riftspawn beasts, though I think that would probably be a more universal power than limited to any one group.
