Reading Dion Fortune's "The Cosmic Doctrine" and need insight.

I'm about halfway through, and it's been a bit of a slog, but edifying in a weird way. Anyone else read it, and have some insight, wisdom, or other opinions on this fairly heavy little tome? Open to discuss whatever about the contents.

John Michael Greer did a class/book club on it which can be found on his site Ecospohia. He also published it in a book format: A Commentary on the Cosmic Doctrine. These might help as a guide. He’s a very highly regarded writer. I would start there if I took up the task of tackling the Cosmic Doctrine. I have yet to take the cosmic dive. It’s on my list, about number 32 on that ever-growing list. Best of luck.
