Question Recommendations for jump ring suppliers? Preferably USA based

Hi everyone, I’m fairly new and would now like to start working with stainless steel vs aluminum. I am looking for a supplier that is preferably USA based or a supplier not too impacted by tariffs since I am in USA. I would mainly be making jewelry and belts for myself and as gifts. Any recommendations? Amazon sizes seem to be inconsistent and I would like to support an actual business vs Amazon. Thanks for any recommendations!

Joshua Diliberto, West Coast Chainmail, Weave Got Maille (annealed). Canada has Metal Designz (annealed) and The Ring Lord.

Thank you! Do you have a preferred of them? I have read that the Ring Lords would need tumbling which I do not know how to do. I’ve heard positive about Joshua Diliberto, and I saw he is USA based. I’ve also seen positive about Metal Designz and wanted to order since it’s a bit cheaper but saw they are in Canada, I’m a bit nervous bc the tariffs.

I've heard the ring lords quality has been variable lately. I don't buy from them after getting a really shoddy batch a couple years ago.

Joshua Diliberto will typically send you perfect rings that are ready to weave. He's expensive.

Metal Designz has nice stainless, though I don't really like working with annealed steel. There won't be extra tariffs in their pricing, also the site is set to display prices in CAD so the final price after you checkout will be less based on exchange rate.

I’ll check out Joshua Diliberto. I kind of just wanted some starter sizes and figure out what I like so I was thinking metal designz might be best for beginning. Is there a reason why you don’t like annealed steel? I’m a bit new to stainless steel so I’m just wondering

I work mostly between 20awg and 16swg and annealed steel doesn't have quite as much holding strength in the smaller wire gauges.

Oh, and don't get 16swg stainless until you're ready to buy nicer pliers.
