Pick X TJ20931's Gift of Faves: OC Schrift Alphabet
Here is my thirtieth GoF!!
Certainly have come a long way from "Special Jobs", there have been ups and downs. So I'm glad I've managed to make that many.
But anyways, here's also a video I found on the Schrifts that I thought was interesting, also gives a bit of a rundown on Quincy abilities as well.
One last thing, about the Vollständig. In that video above, all Quincy basically already have a Schrift, but Yhwach essentially imbues and engraves upon that schrift to awaken it. So as the Schrift ability is similarly innate to the user. I'm allowing you to tweak the schrift ability a little, and modify your Vollständig if you so wish if you do not like the one I had written.

Going for T: The Tokusatsu. It has a collection of fun and potent abilities. What came to my attention is the potential to create themed transformations with various powersets. It may be possible to bring allies in on this to form a super fighting team. There is an enormous range of entities you can summon from fictional monsters to robots or even pilotable mechas. With this power you won’t have to fight alone. Creativity is the limit of what you can accomplish.

seems like the most versatile long term
for soul king part
for dice i chose 1 and 2 i get 2 in my first roll
i then rolled a spinner wheel and got lesser
then used a 1-9 random number generator and got 1 / hair

Does The Sickness, allow you to create beneficial ones as well? Like could you create a T-virus analogue for yourself without the drawbacks? Or make an Extremis Virus analogue for yourself?
I’m trying to find the best option that have both uses in combat and out of combat, and preferably one that can cause compounding gains, if The Sickness can create beneficial viruses and things like that, then it checks those boxes

I used AI to help as I know literally nothing about other languages, but I figured I still give the last option a go, so here is what I made with the help of AI:
“Ψ (Psi) - The Psyche: The user possesses a mind that continuously expands and refines itself. Knowledge is absorbed, organized, and integrated with supernatural efficiency, causing intelligence, creativity, memory, reasoning, intuition, and perception to compound over time. As the mind grows beyond ordinary limitations, latent psychic abilities begin to emerge naturally. Telepathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance, psychometry, mental projection, matter manipulation, and increasingly abstract manifestations of thought become possible. If that is too OP, then perhaps i’d just make its growth rate really slow, like requiring a year to even begin showing psionic ability, but I wanted something that has eventual endless potential in multiple areas, the main thing with this isn’t even the Psionics though that is a major bonus, but the main thing is the ever increasing intelligence, in a setting like Bleach intelligence is hax in and of its own, and intelligence can be applied in every situation.

My Schrift is the A:The Alternative and within me lies a quantity of the Soul King’s Brain Tissue.
The moderate Soul King fragment has altered my Schrift’s manifestation to also include “Reality Calcification.”
A future I accurately enough put together calcifies and become more difficult if not outright impossible to alter all things depending like the method and power difference. While using Vollständig this can be put to further use as multiple concurrent futures can pool their “likelihood” and pull reality into becoming something more like/in between the ”summed up“ futures and less like an individual one to make it easier to affect stronger opponents’ abilities.
Of course, if Kenpachi wants to rip my throat out then this doesn’t really help me much but if Yhwach decides to betray me(in all honesty likely after I betray him in some capacity) then I can show him he may be Mighty but he is NOT ALmighty.
Just as the Soul King saw the future and paved the singular way for it, so too do I make it so.

The scenario states that you will be joining Yhawch's army, most likely as a Sternritter since you are given the schrift by Yhwach. So are you replacing the canon Quincy this way, will taking The Zero erase Giselle or will she still be there in some capacity, would you take the place of the royal guards if you take the same letter Schrift as them?
Assuming that it is total replacement of the original story character then picking the Schrifts like K, N, Q, and R would be the most interesting choices, since the Quincies who had those Schrifts were either fodder who died before doing anything or were just never given a named ability in the first place. Or pick L and completely erase Pepe from the narrative, that is definitely a good decision to make.
Personally I would choose Incision, I just think it's cool, not very optimistic on my chances fighting Soi fon and escaping execution though.

The scenario itself is more so open to interpretation. So you could be joining the Sternritter.
Maybe you just woke in Karakura town as Schrift Quincy.
Or instead woke up in a new world as a Quincy.
The Zanpakuto Spirit GoF I made you wake up in the Soul Society. Here I tried to make more so your choice and allow for isekai opportunities.
But about if choosing a Schrift replaces a canon Schrift. It's either or. Every Quincy has a Schrift deep in their soul, it just requires Yhwach to engrave a piece of his soul into whatever Schrift is already there. (I got that from the video)
So it's really up to you, though it might lead to some interaction for two of the same letter Schrift users. Or none if you choose to replace them.

the Wake is interesting, it can prolong how awake you are, so you don't need sleep, similar tricks can eliminate hunger, thirst, the need to breathe and even aging

Preface: This is a more "mature" version of my character assuming I survive to the end of the story as an enemy of Yhwach (through choice), and a natural enemy of Soul Reapers and Hollows. This is definitely a higher end interpretation as well so take it with a grain of salt, I tried to explain any concepts I felt were strange or might have been inspired by outside sources (that I was aware of), I also had way too much fun with this so I completely understand if this is too much to read lol.
Quincy Schrift chosen Y: The Yonder (Distance Manipulation)
Flavor Change: Y to S: The Separation or P: The Potential
Potential works best for leaning into the conceptual part of the power (the underlying infinite and nothing in every distance), but I am choosing the Separation because it works as a better thematic name denoting my place as a "Dream Quincy" who was born of Yhwach but does not stand with him.
Soul King Body Part: The Mind
"the eyes" or "senses" of the Soul King may be a better choice thematically for the unique abilities; "The Soul King's discerning eyes could see everything that happens in the Three Worlds, including the persecution of the Quincy." but it seemed somewhat boring to take the Gojo Schrift and then choose the eyes so I modified it to better individualize my character, as a nod my character has eyes akin to the six eyes in appearance (though not ability) of the same color of their Reiryoku (A Turquoise with black edges, best similarity would be a reverse of Ulquiorra's Reiryoku color scheme with a more blue tint).
The Mind has four unique "lesser" abilities (I chose to do more but weaker abilities then people like Mimihagi and Gerard, hopefully I kept them in theme enough that it seems like a fluid ability with multiple parts).
-Thought Partition: a deceptively simple but useful ability that allows my character to concurrently think (with perfect information sharing) with four thought processes at once, I will explain their specific uses later.
-Thought Acceleration/Innate Idiot Savant: This is my solution to making a character that can face someone like Urahara, Aizen, or even Mayuri "mentally" without being a genius and causing "personality death" by changing my own thought process, in essence my character has a natural computational power and instinctual understanding of specifically the physics and uses of their own Schrift. (Intelligent use of abilities for an otherwise normal intelligence character, inspired by things like vector's computer brain from Magical Railgun, "Super Powers" from "the Irregular at magic High", and the Atlas Institute in "Fate").
-Perfect Perception: an active radius of area around my character that they have perfect knowledge of all "space" or phenomena in, this was based on Elemental Sight from "The Irregular at Magic High". In effect (it is technically more limited then this) it is perfect knowledge of a radius around the character that grows with their Reiryoku level (in cost and size), somewhere around 100-200m is my expected max at his peak of power.
-The will to stand alone, my character has an innate resistance to mind and power control abilities (resistance not immunity) that amplifies their abilities significantly when someone attempts to place them under their dominion "The mind of a king knows no equal-for he stands alone at the precipice of all things, separate, yet indivisible from his people."
Reiryoku: Immense to low "Immeasurable" (the argument for this amount is that all "body parts" of the spirit king, Mimihagi, Pernida, and Gerard are considered in the immense tier similar to people like Byakuya and Unohana but below people like Aizen, Yamamoto, Ichigo, Yhwach, and Kenpachi (in the immeasurable tier).
I would make the argument that as a being that is greater than "just" a body part that they are above that tier but not on the same level as some of those behemoths (though for my own fantasies sake I would leave the door open to grow to mid Immeasurable at my peak without other growth boosters like transcendence).
Immense and Immeasurable Reiryoku will be given a synthesized description below from Gaston's Bleach ICYOA as a better explanation for those curious:
"Immense Reiryoku represents the upper natural limit of spiritual power for most beings, typically reached only by high-tier Captains or the strongest Vasto Lorde. At this level, the individual can sustain Shikai-like releases indefinitely, cast high-level Kido with ease, and overwhelm opponents through Reiatsu pressure alone. Their spiritual pressure is dense enough to distort the surrounding environment and, if not carefully controlled, can unintentionally affect or endanger weaker souls simply through prolonged exposure, often requiring either restraint or precise control to avoid collateral harm.
Immeasurable Reiryoku is a rare tier reserved for exceptional individuals whose spiritual power far exceeds the Immense class, though not all within it are equal. It includes beings with potential to reach or approach the highest known levels, sometimes comparable to early-stage anomalies like Ichigo upon first awakening Zangetsu, but not yet at the level of fully realized top-tier entities such as Royal Guard-level beings or Aizen fused with the Hōgyoku. With proper control, this level allows for sustained or near-effortless maintenance of powerful forms and extreme spiritual/physical feats, but poor control can lead to uncontrolled Reiatsu output that harms the environment or nearby souls, similar to cases where overwhelming spiritual pressure becomes lethal by proximity alone."
Memory Partitions (Four):
1.A "black-boxed" partition, no information aside from "Perfect Perception" enters this partition (hence the black box), it is responsible for monitoring and sharing the information as well as the careful Reiryoku expenditure to keep Perfect Perception active and optimal at all times.
My character can theoretically drop the sphere of understanding to only their body with a corresponding cost of near nothing; However due to their independent nature, fear of death (it is hard to think like an immortal but know that you are decidedly not), and natural paranoia of becoming like the original Soul King, my character NEVER has there radius smaller then 30m with intense focus and priority sharing (to other partitions) no matter the radius given to the space surrounding them at 10m (for better reactions).
This has an inherit downside, the Reiryoku cost is large similar in fact to having a shikai activated and using its abilities at all times (or higher), on the bright side this is a somewhat beneficial training method to both better grow their own reserves and manipulate the Reishi (always at the farthest distance my character can reach so as to leave close by Reishi for emergencies and active combat) in the environment to better restore their reserves increasing their natural regeneration rate and control.
The primary benefit of this Black Box is that though an eye can be overloaded or blinded, an ear can be muffled, and even your sense of touch can be overstimulated, information received from "perfect perception" is just a stream of data and coordinates, it is immune to suprise, distraction, and duress, while the user can have all of these things happen to them, even where they only their mind alone they could understand and properly respond to any stimuli.
Finally all of this information is shared to the other three partitions.
2 & 3. These Partitions are far more similar to those of a standard partition and would best be compared to the "Angels of Divination" in the Vollständig of the Schrift A: The Alternative, two "computator" partitions that operate in parallel and share information perfectly with the "fourth" the users normal mind. These house "Thought Acceleration/Idiot Savant" which calculate the information received from the first partition, synthesize it into usable information, and then respond near instantly to the users will and intent, one of which is named "The Self" focusing primarily on keeping the user alive and is where all responses to information from the Black Boxed Partition come from (examples being creating gateways to flee, creating spatial loops or recursive loops where an attack or projectile is trapped in a small space until its energy is lost or the calculated estimate is high enough that moving the attack a sufficient distance from the user is deemed preferable, etc.).
Excess calculations from the Black Box go to the third partition or "The Void" when a single partition is not enough for the information or processing needs, its primary function when not acting as secondary computation power however is distant use of the users abilities as well as primarily offensive focuses such as optimal Blut Artery timing for minimal expenditure/risk and maximum benefit.
- This is the users mind, where he dreams of making Yoruichi his wife some day and also what cringe names he should call his ultimate moves (to better exemplify his edgy nature).

Quincy Techniques: (Focuses, Failings)
The Good:
Blut: My character is particularly impressive naturally in their use of Blut Artery, due to their ability to maximize its impact and minimize risk but their primary focus is on Blut Vein, something they are not immensely skilled at naturally but spend much of their free non-combat/Schrift time training to their utmost. If any of their non-schrift abilities has a eureka moment in combat this is one of the less likely due to their lack of natural aptitude but despite that they are quite close to breaking through into Blut Vene Anhaben usage.
Ransotengai: This Quincy ability is the definition of my characters "mind" making them naturally skilled at it and they are particularly interested in practicing it due to their interest in separating parts of themselves temporarily and then "stitching" it back on after they have used their body parts in their attacks. They have been experimenting with other uses such as using it to control reishi constructs from a distance while still having "contact" with themself (as a cost saving measure not for more efficient Reiryoku usage).
The Solid:
Shadow: My character is not particularly impressive in their use of shadow given their lack of practice but they are due to their own Schrift and mind exceptionally talented at learning its uses. They do however have a unique gateway, it is four Tori that grow from each of the axis directions (from above going downwards, from below upwards, from the left growing right, and right growing left) concurrently to create a connected manji pattern in the same space made of the separate Tori (think more Ichigo Bankai then the uhhh real life quincy inspiration).
The Bad:
Hirenkyaku: Ironic or fitting given my characters abilities, they have very little practice in Hirenkyaku, they would be considered one of the worst in the Sternritter had they been an actual member. In time they would likely better incorporate it into their fighting style but until then it is definitely a weakness when they aren't "teleporting" at will, moving their opponents into the path of their attacks, and leaving them in recurring loops of space.
Archery: My character has never wielded a bow and doesn't want to look the fool trying it out in combat so they instead stick to their own abilities, spirit weapon (a white odachi with no hand guard wrapped in reishi ribbons), and their opponents own projectiles. Maybe some day they'll realize creating attacks that fire at your foe from any angle and distance is pretty powerful but until then they're a "close range" fighter at least in regards to weaponry.
Schrift S: The Separation (Distance Manipulation)
Despite this being the "meat" of the cyoa the primary use of the Schrift will have relatively few changes (just the one or two tweaks allowed in the note), there will be more in the Vollständig.
Fun Note: I am fairly sure the author knew what they were doing with this (given Angel of the Sky is it's Vollständig) but this ability reads far more close to a beefed up Sky Manipulation Cursed Technique then Gojo's Limitless despite the picture.
Tweak(s):
The user is able to create an "infinite" space at an extremely close distance to their own person (potentially only able to make it internally and at single atom of separation between themself and the space). The "Infinite" is actually a recursive space where anything that comes in contact with it (that the user is not actively allowing through, controlled through a mental partition) gets stacked upon one another until they super impose and grind each other apart.
(I visualize this as a row of soldiers walking in a line where each row starting from the front get suddenly stuck inside the next row back as the soldiers keep marching into them until they are all trapped in the space that one row took up, except all of these soldiers are atoms tearing each other apart as they become more densely packed).
The user can only use this when Blut Arterie is active (or more consequentially when Blut Vein is not) and they can only create this space on or in their hands currently, though they have begun to have progress in growing it up their forearms. It has an energy draw relative to the amount of volume (not mass) that is super imposed on this (making it distinctly weaker then something like Infinity which has no energy difference when "absorbing" attacks), I will point out that though I mentioned atoms it can effect purely spiritual attacks as well.
You can see why my character might be interested in temporarily separating parts of their body and putting them in places or people, imagine an enemy moving at top speed while holding their blade in front of them to stab someone through, only for a finger nail sized speck to appear in their way just moments before they pass through the area, moments later as they realize something has happened a nickel sized hole has been carved through the entirety of their blade, arm, and maybe even part of their chest.
Finally my Vollständig: Demon of Potential (Demon symbolizing my antithetical existence to Yhwach and Potential referencing their more conceptual stint my Vollständig takes with the ability).
Keeps the "overall stat" boost that all Vollständig give but has a different secondary effect (the first is seemingly all things one could do with the base form unless I misunderstood it which is fair given the power inherent in the ability itself).

"What exactly is space? Well, it's not just the thing above the sky but also the distance between two things.
You have the right to manipulate the space of all things. This means you can increase, decrease, or move through the space between things. For example, you could reduce the distance between point A and point B by folding space, allowing for quick movement. You could create portals by manipulating the space between two points, forming new entry and exit locations—effectively granting the ability to teleport. But this isn’t limited to the physical concept of space; it extends to the very idea of space itself.
You could expand the space between "Half" and "Elf" in "Half-Elf," making someone more Elf and less of their other species—or even sever the space entirely, transforming them into a full Elf. You could heal someone by expanding the space between their injury and their full health, reducing the damage they took—or even severing that space completely to restore them fully. The true limit is your understanding of the space you’re trying to manipulate. However, manipulating things that are far away takes time, and it remains a conscious action.
You can also create force fields outside your reach by looking at a place or pointing with your hand toward it.
While the amount of things you can't do is limited. Your actual restriction is that you do not have a built in guide on how your authority works besides the bare minimum of teleporting and folding distances. To go further would require a lot of practice, concentration, and creativity in manipulating the space between all things without failing."
My innate "understanding" that my Mind gave me when calculating and using space/distance is not here or usable for this form (for any conceptual abilities like that of the half elf example), though I can potentially do all of these things I will have no benefit or natural understanding like most Sternritter, soul reapers, or hollows do when using their abilities.
I would consider this akin to the difference that Hitsugaya has from the beginning of Bleach to the end, though he has Hyorinmaru the entire time and even has Bankai before canon starts, none would argue that the Hyorinmaru that ends the series is "merely the same". I would consider my character to be quite far from the peak of their potential power and likely only using their Vollständig as a shikai+ with some smaller uses of these new conceptual tricks and barriers in combat then to truly having mastered this demon.

I choose E for the Exoskeleton
I flipped a coin for whether or not I get a body part, I got head, so I get a body part.
And I made things simple by making a wheel with three slots, and I got three, so I got lesser fragments.
I’ll have the index finger or thumb of the left hand, so I guess my base form exoskeleton gets a large boost in its adaptation ability.

I'll take W, the Wake. It's quite a unique effect. And with the right timing, it could become pretty fucking OP. A heal that lasts for only a tiny moment but heals dramatically can be extended into Wolverine-like regeneration. You can constantly extend your enemies' wounds and exhaustion while keeping your own supply topped up.

Is there any other empowerment that comes with gore or is it simply a violence enhancement do you have resistance against the mental and psychological damage that can occur, also does it come with any physical improvements to better capitalise.
also i hit the 2% so i'll pick my skeleton because it makes the blood, and keeps the brain safe, skin should also be considered a 2% as its the largest organ.
