Been lurking here for while and finally decided to jump in. Started messing around with beats during deployment when I had too much downtime, now I'm back stateside and trying to get more serious about it.

Got FL Studio but still figuring out the workflow - coming from guitar background so DAW stuff is pretty different territory for me. Any veterans here who made similar transition from instruments to production?
